Winter Beer Tasting Evening
De Ryck Christmas Pale Ale
Brewery: De Ryck
Strength: 6.3% ABV

Our lowest strength winter offering at 6.3%. However, the ‘typical winter’ spices are still present in this beer is an amber coloured Belgian high fermented Ale. It has a spicy flavour due to the authentic way of brewing with pure hops and malt. An agreeable companion on cold winter evenings!
Du Bocq Christmas
Brewery: Du Bocq
Strength: 8.1% ABV

This beer pours a clear dark brown creating a generous white head. It has a pleasant aroma typifying the use of the seasonal malts, a hint of coriander and liquorice help to increase the enjoyment.
Binchoise Spéciale Noël
Brewery: La Binchoise
Strength: 9% ABV

The strongest and mostly aromatised of the la Binchoise range. It possesses a very aromatic nose and bright amber body; it combines a complex taste and delicate bitterness. Became famous in 1995 after winning a Platinum Medal at the World Beer Championships in Chicago.
Caracole Nostradamus
Brewery: la Caracole
Strength: 9.5% ABV

A rich warming brown ale. Hints of plum and dry fruit are evident, with a nice aroma of figs and caramel. This is a nightcap beer. Slow sipping style and full of alcohol, drink it at leisure and let your hand warm the glass ...you will berewarded with a beer of greater complexity. A fabulous winter beer.
Abbaye des Rocs Spéciale Noël
Brewery: de l’Abbaye de Rocs
Strength: 10% ABV

A wonderful seasonal beer, deep brown with a head. A malty aroma with notes of overripe fruits, toffee and yeast. A chocolate flavour, with malt, spices and port undertones. Very complex, one of the best Nöels.
Gouden Carolus Christmas
Brewery: Het Anker
Strength: 10.5% ABV

Gouden Carolus Christmas is everything a winter beer should be, strong, dark and overflowing with flavour. Brewed at the end of August, then set to rest for a few months, in order to optimise flavour balance. The use of three types of hops and the addition of six exceptional herb species make this Christmas beer a class apart. Beers do not get any better than this, this is world class!
